Tapas is the collective name for small delicious mouthfuls. On this hands on class you will learn how to make six delicious dishes such as patatas bravas; garlic prawns; roasted pepper with chorizo and brandy and the classic Spanish tortilla. You will leave with a meal for two people to enjoy together.
This is a relaxed and fun class where you will learn how to cook an authentic Green Thai Curry, Pad Thai, Crab Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. These dishes introduce you to the key flavours of Thai cookery, sweet, sour, salty and spicy and after the course you will feel more confident about replicating the dishes in your own kitchen.
The session begins at 10am and lasts around three hours. You will leave with all of the recipes provided for you, along with your creations.
Why buy your Canapés when it is so easy to create your own. Five different canapés are made to take home during the morning, which can then be frozen ready for the festive season. This is a fun course and always very popular and you will leave with around 100 canapés!
A demonstration to celebrate entertaining over the festive period: a few canape ideas; a delicious stuffing roulade to accompany the Christmas lunch; a spiced, slow roasted fillet of beef, accompanied by mushroom, bacon and thyme dauphinoise; a delicious sticky toffee pudding recipe that you will make time and time again and even better, can be frozen and a Christmas white chocolate and berry trifle.
The session starts with coffee and mince pies before I demonstrate a number of dishes from start to finish. The demonstration finishes around 12 noon and lunch follows comprising of the food prepared.

Another classic, Aubergine Parmigiana, will also be made to take home and Tiramisu. The class begins at 10am and lasts for approximately 3 hours. You will leave with dinner for 2 and your recipes.
Are you looking for some inspiration for Veganuary? On this class you will learn how to make Aubergine ‘parmigiana’, Chickpea, Walnut and Beetroot Meatless Balls and Vegan Brownies, you certainly won’t miss the meat!
Sourdough bread is great fun to make when you know how and the beneficial bacteria make it better for us. Long fermentation mean that it is easier to digest too! Buying sourdough bread is expensive, so why not learn how to make your own. Starting at 10am, on this course you will learn how to make a basic sourdough loaf and learn how to create your own starter too but don’t worry, you will leave with a bit of starter so you can get going at home as soon as you like. As well as a traditional sourdough, you will also make a cranberry and walnut sourdough, rye sourdough and Swedish Cinnamon Buns. While we wait for bread to rise, we will enjoy a delicious homemade lunch.
Shop-bought gluten free products can be full of too much sugar and nasty additives. Spend the morning making some delicious focaccia bread; shortbread and pistachio and coconut loaf cakes with ginger and lime curd filling.
The session lasts around three hours with all of the recipes provided for you to take away along with your creations.
If pastry fills you with dread then this course will give you the confidence you need to make your own shortcrust, flaky and choux pastry. You will leave with chocolate eclairs, sausage rolls and Bakewell tart to enjoy at home.
Homemade bread is so easy when you know how and can be very therapeutic too! Starting at 10am, on this half day course you will learn how to make seeded batch rolls, pita, focaccia and a quick and easy wholemeal loaf.
This 'hands on' class never fails to please. You will grind your own spice mix for a Rogan Josh curry, as well as making stuffed roti bread, pilau rice and chicken korma. All to take home for dinner that night.
A lovely introduction to the delights of Middle Eastern food. Enjoy making the perfect hummus and flatbread to accompany. Following with Moroccan chicken with preserved lemon and olives served with Persian rice and a Middle Eastern dessert to finish.
Are you bored of your summer salads? On this course you will make a variety of fresh and flavoursome salad dishes, simple enough for weekday dinners but special enough for entertaining too. Dishes will include the delicious aubergine and falafel salad pictured. If this doesn’t tempt you, maybe spiced cauliflower with black rice tabbouleh?
